Khris Royal is searing his way across the New Orleans music scene.  Sculpted at the halls of New Orleans' legendary Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) and refined at Berklee College of Music,  this dynamic saxophonist has already been seen sharing the stage with Erykah Badu, Lettuce, George Porter Jr., Trombone Shorty, "Big Sam"Williams, and many more.

With his progressive-funk outfit, Khris Royal & Dark Matter, Khris is able to sonically break new ground by combining high-energy New Orleans funk with intricate and sophisticated jazz lines.
